DMA227 — Character Rigging

Students will construct skeletons and controls to animate digital characters. Specific projects that target unique methods for building 2D and 3D rigs will be developed. Different hierarchal structures and mechanisms will be analyzed to streamline rig application. Topics such as forward kinematics, inverse kinematics, and various scripting methods will be explored.
