Prerequisite: permission of program coordinator. Principles and theory of chemical analysis performed on clinical specimens. In depth study of specimen processing, analysis, test interpretation and quality control procedures used in routine manual and automated clinical chemistry testing. Laboratory exercises in bench techniques, dilutions and test procedures. Group presentation of an assigned chemistry analyzer. 3 lecture/2 laboratory hours
