NCASCCS008 — Beekeeping
Beekeeping in an enjoyable and fascinating hobby that allows you to produce your own honey. Learn the basic principles necessary to start and care for your new colony. We will cover biology, location requirements, how to obtain bees, equipment, harvesting and extracting, diseases and pests. No prior knowlege of honey bees or beekeeping is required. There will be a field trip to a local beeyard as part of the course.
