ServSafe Certification: Food Safety Manager - Exam Prep. & Exam Cost: $165.00. Our ServSafe® course equips professional food protection managers with the knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and manage foodborne illnesses. In New Jersey, at least one certified individual is now required in all Risk Type 3 food establishments. This comprehensive 9-hour training includes both the instructional session and the certification exam. Participants must obtain and review the ServSafe® textbook prior to the start of class and bring two (2) forms of identification - one of which must be a photo ID - on the day of the exam.
