The Aviation Flight Technology: CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) Certificate is designed to qualify graduates to become flight instructors. This position is a beginning step to becoming a professional pilot. To succeed in a career as a pilot for a major airline, a candidate must possess a college degree. Many students who already possess an associate and/or a baccalaureate degree can qualify for these competitive positions after they attain their flight credentials and experience.
