Associate in Arts - Education
The Education option of the Liberal Arts and Sciences program introduces students to the field of teaching and prepares them to enter a baccalaureate degree program in education. In addition to studying the history, philosophy, and practices of education, students are offered the opportunity to engage in service learning or field experience in school settings under the supervision of experienced classroom teachers. Students should determine the requirements of the college to which they wish to transfer and, with the aid of college advising and counseling services, select elective subjects accordingly.
