Description: An introduction and overview of public assistance and benefits available under local, state and federal programs. Examines eligibility requirements and methods used to evaluate applications for selected benefit programs. Includes application of economics, legal and ethical principles related to administration of public assistance. 18.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade only)
