HMS- 22 — Human Behavior and the Social Environment
Description: An introduction to the principles of a career in social work and an emphasis on human behavior in the social environment. This course covers the major guiding theories of social work practice in the micro, mezzo and macro spheres, and an understanding of larger systems and behaviors and the ethical responsibility and required competencies of the professional. 54.00 hours lecture.
