Description: Explore theoretical and practical approaches to working with military families in the field of social work practice. An overview is given of the unique culture of military families, their resilience, and the challenges of military life. Emphasis is on family studies, family psychology, and counseling services to those in the U.S. Armed Forces. 54.00 hours lecture. (Letter grade or Pass/No Pass option)
