COM220 — Interpersonal Communication
Credits: This introductory course is designed to acquaint students with the communication skills needed to succeed both academically and socially. Course content includes communication theory, perception, verbal and non-verbal communication, effective listening, assertiveness, awareness of the self as communicator, interpersonal problem-solving, and relational communication. Emphasis is placed on class discussion as a tool for learning and practicing the skills presented in class.
