AGRI 1412 — Advanced Meat Technology

This course provides an overview and in-depth look at advanced technology used in the meat industry. Students will learn fundamentals of troubleshooting meat processing equipment. This course exposes students to new and developing equipment that are being introduced to the industry such as robots, automatic equipment, and “lab-made” meat. Additionally, the students will learn general maintenance of the advanced equipment.
