History of Art I This course introduces the students to the history of art in the western tradition from prehistory to the end of the Middle Ages. It focuses on communication through the visual forms of painting, sculpture and architecture. Additionally, it provides students the opportunity to identify and analyze examples of media, forms, and content in relation to various cultures and periods.
