History of Video Gaming This course explores the world of gaming, from its earliest beginnings to current offerings. Included objects of study are such software and hardware delivery mechanisms as arcade games, video-game consoles, game media, cartridges, optical media, game pads, controllers, and virtual reality headsets. In addition, students examine classical game themes, sports simulators, automobile and flight simulators, and medical and surgical training simulators.
