Mission The mission of the Human Services A.S. degree program is to prepare students for academic success in baccalaureate transfer programs in social work, human services, and related professional areas of study. Based on best practices developed by the National Association of Social Work, the Human Services program emphasizes the acquisition of knowledge from social science disciplines, the development of core social work theory and skills, ethical conduct, and preparation for future professional careers.
