Elementary French I Elementary French I provides an introduction to the French language for students with no previous French studies or one year of high school French. It develops elementary grammar, syntax, and written and oral communication skills. This course examines Francophone cultures throughout the world. This course requires the completion of a minimum of five documented hours of lab work outside of class.
