15-16 Minimum Credit Hours required for degree: 61 Notes: Students should be aware that the extent to which electives satisfy requirements varies widely among different History programs at colleges across SUNY and elsewhere, and they are advised to consult with an academic advisor of the college to which they plan to transfer. (a) To fulfill the World History requirement, students must take one of the following sets of courses: 1) HIS 125 Western Civilization to 1650 and HIS 134 World Civilizations since 1600; OR 2) HIS 132 World Civilizations to 1600 and HIS 127 Western Civilization since 1650.
