International Law This course is an introduction to the role of law in the international system. It acquaints students with the theory, history, and practice of international law. It equips students with the tools to think critically and analytically about law as one of the fundamental institutions of international society. This course explores the nature of international law, its sources, principles, authority, criticisms, challenges, potential and institutions. It also introduces students to contending ways of seeing international law through comparing and contrasting different approaches to international law, including that of legal professionals here in the United States.
