United States Government and Politics This course introduces students to the institutions, structures, and processes of the United States federal government. It examines political theories; the Constitution; federalism; the three branches of government and the federal bureaucracy; political parties and elections; civil liberties and civil rights; the role of the media, interest groups, and social movements; and the interrelationship of economic and political power. Psychology
