CHEM 125 — General Chemistry II with Lab
This course is the second semester of a two -semester college chemistry sequence. Topics covered start with a brief discussion of the physical properties of liquids, solids and solutions. The major focus of this course will be chemical equilibriums and the applied aspects in solution chemistry. Topic areas include reaction kinetics, equilibrium reactions and calculations as applied to solutions, gas -phase reactions, acid/base reactions, buffers, and solubility. Also, entropy, free energy and equilibrium will be discussed before covering electrochemistry. Prerequisite(s): CHEM-120 Corequisite(s): none
