Biotechnology is the use of technology and applied biology to improve human life. Students lear n the fundamentals of biology and chemistry on their way to more advanced understanding of cellular biology, genetics, and microbiology. Students have opportunities to learn hands-on skills in the laboratory, working with DNA, enzymes, cells, and small or ganisms such as bacteria, fruit flies, and plants.
