BIOL 206 — Basic Anatomy and Physiology II

This is the second semester of a two-semester course designed to introduce allied health majors and non-science majors to the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology. This semester, the emphasis is on the cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, immune, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems, and metabolism, fluid/electrolyte, and acid/base balance. Diseases, disorders, drug actions, and therapeutic procedures will be used to reinforce basic concepts of normal anatomy and physiology.
