ED 495 — Education in a Global Society
will focus on education systems around the world, making comparisons to education in the United States. This course promotes opportunities beyond the classroom, providing university students with an opportunity to visit another country and culture while enhancing their critical and creative thinking. University students will research the destination community before venturing there to teach in a K-12 school as well as prepare and implement a community service project in effort to be a concerned and active global citizen.
