SPAN 239 — Spanish for Teachers
Participants will learn basic Spanish pronunciation before moving on to phrases appropriate to specific school situations. The class is divided into two major sections, one dealing with speaking with parents and/or other adults, the other dealing with children in a school setting. Focus will be on Spanish phrases needed for Teacher Talk (management phrases for the classroom, school grounds, hallways, restrooms, etc.) along with phrases for more varied school settings (specific classrooms, parent-teacher conferences, etc.).
