ENG101 — Writing and Research

3 Credits Students write as an integral part of critical inquiry. The course introduces students to the conventions of academic genres including the documented research essay. Students can expect to research social issues and topics relevant to them, revise and edit texts, and reflect upon writing processes. Students produce effective prose for diverse audiences and purposes using various media, including spoken discourse. Prerequisites: ENG 101-Ready
