DNC 242 — Somatics & Movement Integration

Students will explore and utilize a variety of Somatic approaches to access embodied awareness and the mind-body connection. Incorporating experiential anatomy, physical practice, journaling, movement observation/analysis, and discussion, students will examine the reciprocal relationship between their physical and cognitive selves, and the impact that has on their relationships with the world. Prerequisite: Foundations in English.
