FA 265 — Typography and the Letterform

Students in this course will examine and utilize typographic form as well as examine how letters and their designed applications help readers navigate language and retain information. Investigation focuses on gaining a working knowledge of fundamental typographic use and systems, terminology, hierarchy, composition, and history of the letterform. Prerequisite: Foundations course in English. ART
