HERS 352 - Community Nutrition HERS 352 - Community Nutrition (3 credits) This course introduces students to a range of community-based nutrition research, policies and programs in the U.S. Contents contained within a broad overview of public health nutrition include nutritional epidemiology, nutrition monitoring, public policy and food assistance programs with emphasis on vulnerable populations. Students will explore nutrition education and provision programs, evaluate a range of existing programs and design an intervention for an at-risk group in their communities.
