ELC 250 — Electric Motors

hours/3 contact hours Electric Motors teaches the student to select, install and maintain alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) rotating machines. Special focus will be given to DC shunt, series and compound motors and generators in addition to single and three phase motors. Prerequisite(s): ELC 201 Core fulfilled: None
