LDR 110 — Principles of Applied Leadership
/3 contact hours This course is a presentation of the practical aspects of leadership as applied to the realities of management. The operation of private for profit, public and non-profit organizations will be studied. Areas will include structural efficiencies, functional relationships, planning, training, oversight, and evaluation. Financial concerns will be considered in general terms and as a requirement of operational sustainability. Lastly, the relationship between management strategy and leadership will be discussed in union and non-union environments. Prerequisite(s): None Core fulfilled: None course descriptions
