/3 contact hours In this course the realities of working with people will be presented. Leadership’s role in structuring the relationship of the organization to individuals through human resources is discussed. Human resource processes are examined from a human relations perspective. Legal requirements, due process, recruitment, on-boarding, retention, bargaining, recognition, disciplinary action, and succession planning are all examined as opportunities to provide mutually beneficial out-comes to the individual and the organization.
