The Nursing Assistant One-Year Certificate of Completion (NA CC1) is a three-term program that trains individuals to perform authorized nursing assistant duties in a variety of health care settings. The NA CC1 also provides training as a Community Health Worker, and includes foundational classes in communications, public health, developmental psychology, math, writing, and computer concepts. Upon successful completion of all required courses in the NA CC1, and successfully obtaining related state certifications, students will be recognized by the Oregon State Board of Nursing as a certified nursing assistant (CNA), and also as a Community Health Worker.
