ENGL 1010 — English Composition I
A course designed to help the student improve their ability to communicate in writing. A central objective of the course is to prepare the student to successfully complete various writing assignments frequently required of college students. The course emphasizes clear, well-ordered expository and argumentative writing, with variety in sentence structure, carefully developed paragraphs, smooth transitions, and appropriate use of the language.
