Transfer Studies: Cal-GETC
The Certificate of Achievement in Cal-GETC is for students who intend to transfer to either the University of California (UC) or the California State University (CSU), or to one of the many independent or out-of-state universities that accept the Cal-GETC pattern. Students who satisfactorily complete the requirements for this Certificate of Achievement with a grade of "C" or better in each course will satisfy the California General Education Transfer Curriculum (Cal-GETC), thereby completing all lower division general education units required by both the CSU and UC.
