ARTH 402 — Greek Art and Architecture: 3 Credits (3 Lec)

(Rotation) Offered as needed based on student demand. No prerequisites for non majors. This lecture-based course examines the art and architecture of ancient Greece civilization including the Aegean Bronze Age antecedents of Hellenic art belonging to Cycladic and Minoan cultures beginning in 3000 BCE, the earliest recognizable origins in the late Bronze Age of Mycenaean Greece, and concluding with the wide-spread dissemination of Greek material culture after the death of Alexander the Great in 323 BCE

Prerequisites: ARTH 200IA, ARTH 201IA
