ARTH 410 — Medieval Art: 3 Credits (3 Lec)
(Rotation) Offered as needed based on student demand. No prerequisites for non majors. This lecture-based course examines the art and architecture of western Europe between 500-1500, a period rich with contact and exchange among cultures including Roman, Insular, and Viking. Art historical periods include the Late Antique, Romanesque, and Gothic, across the timeline there will be an exploration of the diverse range of material culture contained under the term “medieval.”
