ARTH 427 — Baroque Art in the Netherlands: 3 Credits (3 Lec)

(Rotation) Offered as needed based on student demand. This course offers students a history of painting in the Republic of the Netherlands and its colonies, the East and West Indies, between 1585 and 1700. Emphasis is placed on major artists like Vermeer and Rembrandt as well as the economic, social, political and religious contexts for viewing art
