(Sp) This course is designed to give the engineering student an overview of the accounting processes used in service and manufacturing businesses today, including financial and managerial accounting practices. Understanding topics such as cost analysis of manufacturing processes; budgeting; break-even analysis; financial statement analysis; and internal controls supports engineers when making product design and product line decisions
