Degree

An Associate of Science in General Sciences degree provides students with a broad range of courses that can be transferred to degree programs at a four-year college or university. This degree provides students with exposure to many different subjects and perspectives. It requires a minimum of 60 college-level credit hours, with a minimum of 34 hours of Systemwide General Education (SGE) requirements and 26 hours of STEM and open electives. Many students choose to earn an Associate of Science in General Sciences degree before transferring to a four-year college or university. ( See sample degree program/degree map. )
